  1. Very excited to announce that I will be opening my new workshop at the beautiful and historic Caudwell’s Mill at Rowsley. I’ll be opening my shop and also offering classes in jewellery making from early April. Come and spend some time in my workshop in the beautiful surroundings of the Peak District and make your own piece of solid silver jewellery to take away with you. You’ll also be able to browse and buy from my own jewellery collection, all designed and handmade by myself on site in the workshop. There’s a bit of work to do before I open the doors in a few weeks time but I’m taking bookings now for classes in silver clay. For more information and to book click here.

  3. charm_badger_800x800_01

New in the shop this week is this tiny solid silver badger charm. He was created using the ancient lost wax technique and as a result he is totally unique. This charm started out as a small piece of modelling wax which was carved into the shape of the badger. The wax is then used to make a mould which is filled with molten silver. During the process the wax is "lost" and replaced with silver, so the original wax model is gone for ever - which in turn means that this badger is truly unique and "one-of-a-kind" The badger measures approximately 30mm from nose to tail and is 17mm high ( including the hoop ) The badger's width is roughly 10mm and he is hallmarked underneath his right front paw.
