Solid Silver Oyster Charm with 24k gold

This hand sculpted and hinged oyster shell pendant is a completely unique piece of wearable sculpture. Rich in detail and texture it features a hinge to represent the mechanics of an oyster and inside the two shell halfs there is 24k gold, applied using Kuem-boo, the ancient Korean gilding technique that bonds precious metals together with the use of heat and pressure.

Each Oyster is unique, I sculpt each one by hand before they are cast in silver so you can be assured that your oyster will be one of a kind - I don't use moulds or forming presses so your piece of jewellery is as unique as the person who will be wearing it. The oyster charms measure between approximately 24-28 mm in length with a width of approximately 16mm and sizes may vary slightly withing this range.
